Here's an online water calculator that you can use that is a bit more interactive and accurate than the one we did in class. Try it out to compare against your in-class data.
For example in our class activity I used about 94 gallons a day compared to the 1,245 gallons/day I use according to this calculator! Although this is a lot, I do feel kind of good that it is a lot less than the average American who uses 2000 gallons/day.
Post your results here and I'll give you a bonus point on your reflection.

My average according this water calculator is 1,319 gallons per day,a lot more that the results in class, which were just 257 gallons.
ReplyDeleteMy average is 1,635 ! This is way too much. I need to begin conserving water now !
ReplyDeleteAccording to the water calculator, my avarage water use is 1,835 gallons daily. This is just too much water I use. I need to decrease this number. The calculator avarage was way more than my class avarage. I pledge to reduce my water consumptions level !!
ReplyDeleteMy average was 1,970, compared to my other calculation which was 444.57 gallons. This is really high but its below the average amount people use which is 2000 gallons of water. I need to work on saving water.
ReplyDeleteIn class my daily average for how much gallons i use was 432. According to the water calculator my average water use is 1433 gallons daily. That is about 3 times more than my results in class. Time to start conserving !
ReplyDeleteAccording to the water calculator i use 1,751 gallons daily. When we calculated our water consumption in class, i got 182 gallons per day which is very far off from 1,751 gallons. Like Mr. Fox said, at least i use less than 2,000 gallons a day which is the Average American. I need to start conserving water today!
